Cleanroom Disinfection

For most of cleanroom owners, how to clean and disinfect the cleanroom comes to their mind firstly after completing construction, as it is very important to maintain the cleanroom after being handed over the whole project by constructor.  

Cleaning is the process of removing residues and dust from surface. It is essential whether the surface has been cleaned properly or not before the application of disinfectant. Though cleaning can remove or dilute microbial population and many detergent contain chemical additives that can disinfect, detergent does not mean disinfection after all. Widely used detergents include soaps, anionic detergents, cationic detergents, acidic detergents. However disinfectants are diverse group of chemicals, some of them are bacteriostatic, some are bactericidal. All disinfectants used in Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) cleanroom must be validated in order to demonstrate its efficacy.

Any disinfectant be used for cleanroom must be effective, first of all it must be used in right ratio, secondly, if it is applied to relatively clean surfaces, make sure it will be used appropriately with cleanroom grade mops and cloths.
